The GDS06 infrared PM2.5 dust sensor uses the principle of optical scattering to obtain the particle concentration. Because the particles and molecules will scatter light under the irradiation of light, and at the same time will absorb part of the energy of the irradiated light. When a beam of parallel monochromatic light is incident on the particle field under test, it will be affected by scattering and absorption around the particle, and the light intensity will be attenuated. The relative attenuation rate of incident light passing through the concentration field to be measured can be obtained. The relative attenuation rate can basically linearly reflect the relative concentration of dust in the test field. The magnitude of the light intensity is proportional to the strength of the electrical signal converted by photoelectric conversion. By measuring the electrical signal, the relative attenuation rate can be obtained, and then the concentration of dust in the field to be measured can be measured, and then the single-chip microcomputer is used for PWM and UART communication.

Sensor Recommendations
1) The installation should be in a position with air circulation;
2) Air velocity: 1.5～3 m/S Air volume: 0.004～0.01 CMM
3) Please put the LUFTMY logo on the top when installing;
4) When installing the sensor on the front, please keep at least 5mm of space in front of the sensor ventilation hole unobstructed;
5) It is recommended to attach 3 to 5 mm thick black breathable filter cotton to the ventilation hole where the sensor is close to the air inlet of the machine during installation to prevent the accumulation and blockage of large particles such as dust and dander;
6) Please install it in the backlight place as much as possible.
